All because of an Instagram giveaway...

Saryn and Evan were the winners of my first ever Instagram giveaway! I remember when that little automated winner picker said her Instagram handle. Such a moment of sheer joy and pride! I couldn't believe I was at a point in my business where I was rebranding and able to give things away. Then when I reached out to the couple and let them know they had won, I knew our paths were aligned for a reason. I've never met a couple so deserving in my life, and if I could give them anything more I would.

Their wedding day was the first big snow storm of 2019 and they weren't sure many people would even show up. The chiefs we're playing some big football game and the snow was piling up, but neither stopped these two from saying "I Do". I think for both of them their favorite moment was the tender and intimate washing of feet. Saryn had this to say:

"My favorite moment was our feet washing ceremony. Looking up to see my husband crying as I washed his feet reminded me that this was the most crucial and powerful foundation we could have laid out for our marriage. We wanted the first thing we did in our marriage to be an act of us humbling ourselves and serving one another in a way that is far from glamorous because that’s what marriage is about."

I couldn't have said this any better myself! This couple's future is SO BRIGHT and I cannot wait to see where God takes them. I loved all the time I got to spend with these two, their families, and their friends. From their HOT summer engagement session to their FREEZING cold wedding day, I wouldn't change it for the world. Evan and Saryn will always hold a special place in my heart.
