Is there such thing as posting or blogging TOO many photos? If so, I'm hella guilty 😳
But I believe in showing off all of my couples and everything that went into their day! Each section is more important than the last to the bride + groom and seeing all their memories laid out is more emotional than we can fathom. These emotions are certainly on point when I think about Alan and Meredith!
Alan and Meredith have a love like no other and I got my first look into this during their engagement session. Their wedding was nothing short of incredible in every way. But once again I'm floored not by the beauty of the location, nor the trendiness of the decor but by the human connections that overwhelmed their day. I cried during their first look as Meredith melted in Alan's arms, I sang "wheels on the bus" in my best singing voice as their son AJ ran around the rooftop terrace, I got to meet family who flew in from around the world to celebrate their union, I listened to the sweetest Sister/Maid of Honor speech I've ever heard, and I became part of their family for the day as all their friends and family embraced me.
I was recently asked where I draw my inspiration and when I responded with human connection, I wasn't lying. I'm so drawn to and proud of this wedding because of the emotion we all experienced. From mother and son, to husband and wife, to sister and sister, to best friends and best friends, even photographers and videographers, we we're all emotionally impacted by this wedding day. As you scroll through each image you'll start to feel exactly what I'm describing. So what are you waiting?? Go feel them feels...
Alan and Meredith, marriage is the best commitment there is in life. Waking up each day getting to choose how to best love, serve, and be committed to another person. I pray you both always pursue that choice, even when days are rough. And on rough days remember the connections and emotions that filled this day, letting all anxieties and frustrations melt away.
