There is SUCH a story to tell with Brad and Loribeth's incredibly unique wedding day. From needing to be rescheduled due to COVID-19, to downsizing and switching up venues, vendors and dates this couple has been through it all. But their perfect day finally came this spring and I don't think they would change anything about it.
The couple got ready at the Chase Park Plaza near Forest Park in downtown St. Louis. They had their first look just outside the hotel with their closest friends and family watching nearby. We took a photo tour around Forest Park making stops at some of their favorite locations, Art Hill, The Jewel Box (their original ceremony venue), and then ventured to an iconic spot with magnificent views of the St. Louis Arch. Our last stop before arriving at A.Casa for their ceremony was a local St. Louis murral to commemorate their time together in this special city. Their ceremony was extremely personal and allowed for all their guests to play a role when each were invited by the groom to walk down the aisle. They shared laughs, hugs, drinks, and more as the sun set and the twikle of the string lights illumited the evening.
A.Casa couldn't have been a better venue to host this intimate and beautiful event. With the downsizing of their wedding day, Brad and Loribeth opted out of a traditional dancing reception and in for a 6 course plated meal and cocktail pairing for their guests. This is hands down the most unique reception I've ever attended and I would LOVE to do it again. The intimacy of their time together is truly unmatched, everyone in attendance was seen, loved, and given an opportunity to tell stories, give advice, and speak into the couples lives. The dinner was not only delicious and beautiful but it was completely intentional.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I sincerely hope small and intimate wedding days are here to stay! Brad and Loribeth's day is the perfect example of how eloping or having a micro-wedding can still involve all the important people in your lives, still be stunning and super Pinterest worthy, still be a full days worth of activities, and still be incredibly special and memorable. If big traditional dancing parties aren't for you, look into something small and meaningful. Make your day your way and you'll never look back! Congrulations Brad and Loribeth, thank you for letting me document your best day ever.
